Sacred Circles: This Thing Called You

This Thing Called You book cover'BE the Light' Sacred Circle Series – Winter 2012

You are invited to join one of our free Sacred Circles for a six-week series based on the book, This Thing Called You, by Ernest Holmes. The study of this classic metaphysical book in small groups allows each participant to discover more about the essence of their being and to develop intentional means for living a life based on spiritual principles.

Circles begin week of Feb. 19 and conclude the week of March 18.

  • Participation is open to anyone in our community.
  • Sacred Circles are limited to eight people each and will be closed after week two to build trust and comfort.
  • The required text is This Thing Called You, by Ernest Holmes.  Purchase a 2007 edition for $12.95 at the Center or buy elsewhere.
  • A writing journal is also recommended.
  • Circle members may be asked to contribute snacks for Circle gatherings.
  • Each Circle is guided by a Sacred Circle facilitator supported by a study guide for the series.
  • Circles are hosted by Center for Spiritual Living - Olympia community members, often in a private home, and always in a comfortable location.
  • Circles meet weekly at the same time each week to explore and deepen spiritual practices, engage in meaningful conversation and share stories and spiritual insights.
  • Circles provide an opportunity for those new to the Center to experience greater community connection and understanding.
  • Attendance at all six sessions is strongly encouraged.
