Music Ministry
At the Center for Spiritual Living-Olympia we express our devotion, joy, and
creativity through music. Music opens our hearts to spiritual practice.
Our house musicians, choir, and guest artists are all part of what the music
ministry offers. Whether classical, pop, gospel, drumming, chant, or
special seasonal music, the Center truly hums.
You are invited to be a part of the music, whether singing along at our Sunday
service, attending a concert event during the year, joining the choir,
volunteering for our audio/visual team, or by bringing your own creative ideas
and expression in another way.
If you are a local musician, musical group or
vocalist interested in performing at the Center for Spiritual
Living-Olympia, please contact David or Denny.
Choir Practice is Back ~ October 2
Dust
off your vocal cobwebs, loosen those creaky hips, and join us for some fun,
sharing, camaraderie, and oh yeah, plenty of singing! The Center for Spiritual
Living-Olympia community choir rehearses Sunday mornings before service. All are welcome.
The only requirement is enthusiasm.
Performances: October 23 and November 20. Special December
holiday performance date to be determined.
Contact
Denny Kautzmann, Choir Director, for more details.

The Music Team
 |
Except for the one Sunday a month when he is off-duty, David books our
musicians, soloists, and other artists for most weekly services.
To be part of the regular Sunday music service, please email
David Rhys-Johnson
or visit
Red Man Music.
David has been music director for a variety of churches over the last 30 years.
He has been with CSL-Olympia since the beginning (six years ago), serving our
community musically in a number of different positions.
David has performed professionally on the piano for over 30 years.
People often say they can feel his sense of "oneness" with the piano when he
performs. His repertoire includes ballads, love songs, new age music, show
tunes, rock, gospel, country, and his own new era music.
