Sacred Studies - Winter Term 2012

Two courses are offered winter term: Visioning and Power of Your Word. Both have Foundations class as a prerequisite.

Certificated courses adhere to the United Centers for Spiritual Living curriculum guidelines. These courses may count toward your Religious Science Certified Practitioner (RScP) credential should you decide to pursue practitioner studies.

Visioning

January 17 to March 6, 2012
Tuesdays, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Tuition: $185 for CSL-Olympia members; $200 for non-members

Facilitator: Rev. Elizabeth O’Day

Using the visioning process, we learn how to open ourselves to God’s highest and best vision for our lives, our community, and our world. Visioning is a specific process that combines elements of meditation and prayer to listen, to see the Divine picture of who we are, and willingly embody it into the way we live. Prerequisite: Foundations.

Power of Your Word

January 22 to March 11, 2012
Sundays, 1 to 4 p.m.
Tuition: $185 for CSL-Olympia members; $200 for non-members
Texts: "How to Use the Science of Mind" and "Can We Talk to God?" by Ernest Holmes
Location: Cathy Pfeil's home, 2000 Chambers Avenue, Olympia

Facilitators: Barbara Hart, RScP, and Cathy Pfeil, RScP

This class takes a deep look at the philosophy of Science of Mind and the power of Spiritual Mind Treatments. Topics include affirmations, creative law, treatments, clear thinking. Prerequisite: Foundations.
