November 19 - Circles of Exchange: Clothing and Accessory Swap
Search your closets and drawers for three or four nice items (in very good

To have enough space for the exchange items, there will NOT be a sit

on arrival and throughout the afternoon in the kitchen area.
This promises to be great fun and camaraderie with fantastic “new” wardrobe
opportunities. Bringing food and/or exchange items is optional. JUST BE
SURE TO COME and join the party.

September 17 - Remember, Rejuvenate, Rededicate,
Redefine
On January 21, 2006, we had our first Women's Circle gathering at Pat Perry's
home. Many of you were there to experience COLOR together. Now, five and a half
years later, it's time to remember, rejuvenate, rededicate, and
redefine our Circle.
Join us to celebrate where we've been, what we've done. It's time to remember
what was great and what we want to improve. Please be willing to share what has
been most important to you about being part of our Women's Circle. If you're new
to the Circle, bring ideas and share. We'll toss our ideas in the air and see
what lands. The process won't be long or tedious.
Stick around to the end, if you want to swim in Black Lake.
Bring:
- Potluck dish. Gather at 12:30 p.m., with
lunch to be served around 1 p.m. If the weather is warm, it will
be a picnic. Remember that bees live here, too. They love
meat and fish, so that's something to consider.
- Photos from past gatherings: Bring photos
from our events, gatherings and celebrations. If they are on a
CD, we can view them together on TV or computer. Think of the
times that have been most meaningful to you from our Circle of
women, or other circles you have experienced.
- An item or items to be attached to a new TALKING
STICK. Together, we will create a new talking stick.
Bring a trinket or token, some symbol of YOU to tie or glue on:
beads, jewels, ribbons, feathers, maybe you lost one earring and
you have the other to share.

Go one block (flowered mailbox will be on the left). Turn LEFT onto shared
driveway. After 500 feet, jog to the RIGHT, then LEFT again. Please do not block
driveway. Park behind carport. If the ground is solid, park most anywhere, but
if muddy, stay close to driveway.
June 18 - Crowning Ceremony, 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Visit
the 2007 Crowning Ceremony
photo gallery.
This special ceremony honors women entering or living the "wisdom" years
of life. It is open to all women, not just those who attend the Center for
Spiritual Living.
We know the post-menopausal years to be vibrant, full, and rich, so we
declare this rite of passage our Crowning Ceremony.
The archetypes of the Maiden, Mother and Crone
represent the three phases of a woman's life. This third cycle of your life is
the one in which you become an Elder and you’ve joined a special group. You have
a lifetime of achievements behind you and decades more to look forward to. The
word Crone should now be a word of power. So celebrate it! You’ve earned it.
If you want to experience the honor of being crowned as the Queen of
your Life, please let us know. Sign up at the information table or
contact Barbara Metcalf at befiddler@aol.com or (360) 357-7441.
May 21 - Sharing our Visions and Dreams
It will be a lot like show-and-tell from school days. Bring something that
represents what you are excited about. Tell us about it and let
us support you in the vision you have for whatever this "something" might be.
With many attending the current 'Spring into Vision' Sacred Circles, there may
be some brand new visions and plans forming you want to celebrate with us. All
our plans, visions, dreams will be placed into a blessing circle.
We will also create plans for the Crowning/Croning Celebration to be held at
Barbara's home on June 18. Having the yard blessed and ready for our sacred
Crowning Ceremony is important, so plans include preparing the grounds.
Bring the sunshine and we'll gather outside.

April 16 - A Very Special Clothing Exchange
Look in your closet for something truly lovely. Perhaps it
doesn’t fit just right or you wore it once for a special event and it has been
languishing in your closet ever since.
Can you picture one of your Women’s Circle sisters wearing it
and looking absolutely smashing? Good. Then you have the right idea. Please
bring no more than three or four items—clothing,
shoes, accessories—in excellent condition and
waiting for a new owner. Best of all, you will get to choose something
wonderful for yourself.
We will leave more time at the end for the talking stick so
each person will have a little more time to share.

March 19 - The Celtic Calendar
Camille Fastle will lead us through the history of the Celtic calendar. To
the Celts, time was circular rather than linear. This is reflected in their
commencing each day, and each festival, at dusk rather than dawn. Learn about
the interplay of equinoxes, solstices, cross-quarter days, festival dates, and
more.
Come away with a ritual calendar you make yourself, and an appreciation for
the traditions of those who have come before.

February 19 - Visioning for the Circle
We will gather at Buffie Finkel's
home for a visioning session to produce a plan for the March through June
meetings.
To prepare for this meeting, come with ideas for future programs. Then join the
circle and let spirit lead you through the visioning process. Let's see what
comes up, as individuals and for the group.
And if you don't have ideas in advance, Buffie's home is sure to nourish and
spark your creative muse, as every corner reflects her creativity and passion
for life.
Book exchange: You can bring up to three books—spiritual,
inspirational and related themes, fiction or non-fiction—to
add to the selection. Pay only $1 for each book you choose to take home. Our

healing. With her gentle ways and loving, open heart, Carol is one of
CSL-Olympia's own favorite goddesses.
Homeopathy is a system of medical therapy which uses very small doses of
medicines, or remedies. These remedies are prepared from substances found in
nature. Carol is very passionate about her homeopathy practice and her
